I have new stance on this......Let the fella advertise it for what ever he wants because if someone is prepared to pay the over inflated prices for Jap cars then they deserve to have their pants pulled down.

So the ad link no longer works? How much did he pay originally? I'm looking for a classic but not for a rip off price!

Doing the maths the car is 8.5k, mention of a 3.5k increase so I'd guess at 5k
Its worth what you think it is, just because someone paid x amount for a car doesn't mean that's what it's worth. This is just what I was looking for, didn't realise they came with dccd and ended up with a v3 type ra, I think this model aside from the 22b is possibly going to be up there with the most sought after classic jdm cars

Perfect example as to why I'd never advertise a car on here, I stayed out of it before now because I don't believe in commenting on peoples for sale threads unless i'm actually interested in buying the car.

He's spent a few quid on it and prices have risen, it's the luck of the draw, decent classics are getting much harder to find, so much so that we really don't see very many at all, it's only going to get harder and the prices are only going in one direction, fresh imports are going for almost £10k.

Cheers guys.. the car is stunning and i believe its well worth the asking price. As above these are becoming rare and can only go up in price. Believe me if i could keep it i would

Haha, I think if you go read it again and read it properly you'll see that was never the case......the question was "should I get it undersealed because it will be used through the winter" and "what do others do".......

P.s. I just had a wee look, you were a proper bellend on that thread as expected, I had forgot about that. Funnily enough the cars been grand over the winter months clocking up 3.5k, the cotton wool came in handy especially as it's a 2 bob wagon.

Don't worry mate, he always tries to twist the things people say and come up with his own version, not too sure what his problem is... but I am sure he's not right in the head.

Good luck with the sale.

i tried to sell my genuine classic on here that I bought new and had full service history.

The bell ends on here had a melt down about a few points.

i gave up,gave the car to my sister and now have it back- so glad it never left the family.

i'd keep that if you can make it work financially- it is appreciating.

Selling a car on here is pointless, because you'll always get bell ends like JGlanza talking ****... prats like him wouldn't know the difference between a uk2000 and a 22B......lol...
They are just bored internet trolls, Ignore them chap, pull the advert from here and stick it on piston heads.

Trust you to pipe up. ****ing muppet. People like me wouldn't care about the difference because I'm not a fan boy like you lol. I bet you wear subaru jackets and have posters all over your bed room lol...

At the end of the day, the key word with any special edition is provenance. If it does not have the provenance, I.e. the badges, plaques etc or is altered in any way, the provenance is gone. Therefore, worth less than one with all the appropriate bits...

Would you buy a 22b with no build number for the same price? Probably not....

Build number is important for a car like that, that's what makes it a bit more special. Especially when your asking big money. Why someone would remove any trace of it I don't know.
