Cool 1990 Legacy Rs Type Ra

best way to contact me is.

Gator@gumbootrally.com

$5,999 (Nzd)
This car is in New Zealand it has a registration and warrant of fitness (a six monthly road safe test done in NZ)

Please check your local rules regarding road use if you wish to drive it around on the road

1990 Legacy Rs Type Ra

240,000 ish KM Travelled

Rebuilt factory motor matching numbers Has V2 Sti Heads (noisy lifters) comes with ra heads but they have bent valves - factory spec (zero Km ago)
Rebuilt gearbox original short ratio - factory spec (7,000 Km ago)

Car is in good honest condition.
The panels are all straight few small dimples paint looks great from far and in photos but is showing signs of crazy cracks in a few spots.

Drives like a dream all the factory gear is there
factory wheels come with the car on reasonable tyres (wheels paint is coming off)
factory vf8 in great condition as well.
Has a slightly larger exhaust so it sounds like a legacy should but being ra is sounds a little sweeter than a normal one.

Some sun fading on the dash
Rear dash carpet is not immaculate.

From the research I have done this is one of 200 built in this spec and IMO the most sought after being the pre facelift but with the short ratio box.

All questions welcome I will be as honest as possible happy to take any photos of a serious buyer is interested.
I know I am on the other side of the world but this is the only one I know of for sale anywhere so thought I would spread the options.

This price is for factory wheels please add $500 NZD for speedlines and toyo tyres.

Very cool and crazy rare!

Don't forget to advertise this on car & classic..

GLWS, if I had the money I'd love this!

To anyone in the UK don't be put off by the location, there will be plenty of container options/RORO options ex New Zealand so may not be as expensive as you'd think, especially if the owner is willing to drive it to port of load.

I'm willing to do anything to help.
It's a 4 hour drive to the shipping port.
It will be cheaper to get a transporter there than me to drive there and fly back but if someone is interested we can work all the details

To the OP, yes makes sense! Interested UK parties, expect to pay around GBP 950 for a RORO service from Auckland to Southampton, plus any transport either end, I'd expect UK duties and taxes to be 10% and 20% respectively. Obviously excludes registration fees etc.

Someone get this brought :-) FAO Type RA/Dean, this would look good on the Autosport stand!!
