Subaru Impreza STI Type UK - Prodrive : Many Extras
Much regretted sale of my beloved Subaru Impreza STI - UK Prodrive model.
I did not intend on selling my pride and joy anytime soon, so I haven't exactly held back with spending money on her. I am a through and through Subaru enthusiast, and you'll be able to find a 'build thread' of my car on most of the main Subaru forums. This is my second Impreza STI and by far my favourite!
The car has 88k miles with a full service history. Timing belt replaced at 78k miles by OMA, fuel filter and spark plugs done around 4/5months ago.
The car benefits over most of the others advertised in Northern Ireland as it has so many extras!
MOT Until October 2015
Ill try and list as many of the extras as possible:
Styling:
Boost gauge / oil temp gauge
STI Duracon gearknob – bought from the Japan - $88
Upgraded Steering wheel from 2005 Widetrack STI
Carbon rear diffuser
Genuine Subaru Carbon dash – Subaru dealer extra
Carbon Fibre slam panel
Caraben Craft Carbon Alternator cover
Carbon fibre pillar strips
Carbon boost solenoid cover
JDM Red hazard button
HT Autos front splitter
Engine / Performance:
Zen performance TD05-20G turbo fitted Feb/2015 by Scotts Garage
Nurspec R Full 3” turbo back
3 Port boost solenoid
K&N typhoon induction kit with cold air feed - £200
Upgraded aluminium radiator - £150 - Fitted by AI Autosport Nov/2014
Exedy pink box clutch £420 – rated to 450bhp - fitted Feb/2015 also by Scotts garage
New turbo induction fitted Feb/2015
New up-pipe Feb/2015
BC Racing Coilovers - £600
Front and rear strut brace
362bhp / 306ftlb.
I am selling as I have found a house I would like, though unfortunately it means I cannot keep my Subaru along with getting the house.
If you have a genuine inquirie please feel free to contact me.
*Over seas buyers, I will happily email lots of pictures to potential buyers. Also, I am located only 10mins from Belfast docs & airport so can meet potential buyers.*
Thanks,
Matthew.

Keep it and store it for a few months until your settled into your new house, You will be pushed to find anything that clean again, especially if its another Subaru as most are dogs nowadays(that inc blob/hawks with less miles)

I made that mistake, sold a car to buy a house, then thought I should have kept the car and maybe just kept it off the road for a few months while we was buying stuff etc for the house, ended up buying the same sort of car 6 months later and it wasn't a patch on the car I sold!!

Thats a very nice bug for 5k
Keep it if you can and fund the house another way or someone has a bargain
I would like it for my son but he wants a hawk and as said they are mostly dogs

Thanks for all of your kind comments folks. As you can tell I don't want to see my pride and joy but I think the money will go along way towards furniture etc.
But if I don't get the money I want ill stick it in my dads garage and keep it locked up for a while - unfortunately the new house won't have a garage .
Also,
Car is located in Northern Ireland - Two mins from air and sea ports.
I believe it has had 4 pervious keepers, The last keeper had it for around 3years, his brother owned it previous to that.
It is fully HPI clear, comes with 2keys etc.
Thanks,
Matthew.

Tempting...
We'll see how the sale of my classic goes. Looks great though. Not sure if I missed it, I presume it's got the appropriate map for all the mods? Any dyno graphs?
thanks mate

I wasn't too sure about the price. I though that seemed fair enough, wish I had of decided I was selling before spending the £1700od in the past two months though lol. But such is life.
I think when I come back next time I'll go for a 05 widetrack or a 2014/15 STI

Thanks to Matt for his hospitality and doing such a grand job of the Car, It is a credit to it's former keeper/keepers. Actually felt a bit for Matt as I drove away in what was clearly his pride and joy! Wont hijack the thread but if anyone comes across him and he is either selling or buying I would say its coming/going to a good home. Regards to all and hello again after many years away!
