Going up for sale soon will be my [Nov] 2001 Bugeye WRX Wagon in WR Blue, so I'm gauging interest and need opinions of what it's worth ...

It currently has 126K on the clock, although this will rise slightly as it's my daily runner. I am the 5th owner, having owned it for the last 7 years, the previous owner having owned it for 3 years prior to me, and before that I am unsure ... either way, 2 owners in the last 10yrs should say something? It is completely standard with the exception of a Racebox rear silencer and an afterburner centre section to open up that lovely Subaru burble (but not enough to annoy the neighbours - a consideration I took into account when choosing the exhaust backbox) - this was fitted at Scoobyworld on 01.08.2009.

The car has never missed a beat and has always been run on my preferred choice of fuel which is Tesco99 / Momentum99, or Shell Vpower where I have been away from a Tesco filling station (I seem to get better MPG from Tesco for some reason).

It comes with lots of service history - a few early services carried out by Subaru dealers but most work carried out by Scoobyclinic and no expense has been spared in maintaining my wagon:

I have all the receipts from the work carried out under my ownership to backup the history.

The bodywork is in decent order and is as expected for a 14yr old car but sadly it is the main thing letting it down to be honest - there a few bubbles forming (size of a 5p) on the nearside rear arch, a scuff on the front bumper and a stone chip on the front of the bonnet. Alloys could probably do with some TCL too.

The car comes with both keys, both Sigma alarm fobs, the 4-digit (working) immobilizer code, and the various Subaru handbooks / leather wallet etc.

This car has served me very well over the 7yrs I've had it, performing exceptionally well in the snow too, but now the kids are grown up and we have no pushchairs to lug around I fancy moving to a saloon and don't have the space to keep it - otherwise I would). I am based in Tibshelf, Derbyshire, and work in Beeston, Nottinghamshire so the car will be available to view in either of these locations at various times of the day when it eventually goes on sale.

Let me know what you think and what price I should be looking at (taking into account the age and condition). I fully appreciate there is no way I will get back what I've put into it and I am loathe to break it because I simply don't have the time or space, but it needs to go nonetheless. I would guess you wont get much more than 2k - 2.5k

At the end of the day it's a slightly rusty 14 year old wrx, not being harsh just being honest.

If it were mine I would put it up at around 2250 and take 1st decent offer

Appreciate that, honesty is always the best policy, hence I've been open and honest in the description. I would be more than satisfied to get that sort of money for it - just hope somebody is in the market...

my bug wagon went for 2250, 93 on clock, no rust with sti extras.
would have held out for a little more but at christmas just sold to get it off the drive

I paid 1800 for mine with similar miles but im 2nd owner and few upgrades and loads of histiory was advertised at 2200 but got him down due to slight bubbling on rear arch

I paid £2300 for mine with 122k and pretty much zero service history. Tried to find a reason not to buy it but it just felt looked after and cared for, so took a punt. 10k later and a recent inspection showed that the engine is in rude health. So very happy with it. Goes to show, mileage means very little now, it's all about condition.
