Default 2005(55) Forged Hawk 477BHP-479LB £12500

Going to advertise my car for sale next weekend but i'll put it on here for a week before I put it on pistonheads/autotrader etc
Car is a late 2005 so falls into the lower tax bracket £280 for a year
Car had full mot when I bought it so will have just over 6 months left but I would be willing to renew for new buyer if required
I've owned for 5 months & covered 5000 miles but due to work I'm going to be doubling/trebling my mileage going forward hence the sale, since owning I've spent over £2k on new clutch/stereo/tyres/battery etc
I have a folder of receipts but some receipts/invoices from the previous owner who had the engine built got lost thanks to the good old Royal Mail, however you are more than welcome to speak to the previous owner at length about the car/build etc, I also have some photo's of the build that were thankfully sent via email, genuine interested parties are welcome to ring me to discuss anything about the car & I am a 41 yr old family man who has used this car as his daily car & it will be advertised and sold as honestly as possible

Car has covered just under 62k, engine has covered just under 8k since full rebuild
EJ257 Block bored for 100mm pistons
Block pinned at 4 additional points by 'Finch Motorsport'
100mm Wiseco Pistons
Eagle Rods
ACL Main bearings
ACL Big end bearings
Cosworth stopper gaskets
RCM H11 High tensile steel studs
Heads completely rebuilt with new valve stem oil seals, all valves lapped
Alloy radiator
Modified Graham Goode 12mm High pressure oil pump
RCM oil catch can
MD321T running 1.6bar boost
Japspeed FMIC
Custom inner wing intake
Tomei full Titanium exhaust
Gt spec headers wrapped
Gt spec up pipe
800cc rejetted pinks
BC Coilovers with 5/4 springs
Un-kerbed 18" Rota Gravel wheels
4 Brand new 245/40/18 Vredestein Ultrac Sessenta Tyres
Prosport gauges(oil pressure, oil temp, boost bar)
ATI gauge pod
Godspeed Discs-Brand new fronts with brand new race pads
EBC Blue stuff rear pads

Car is always warmed up/left to idle before turning off & is always run on optimax/v power nitro or whatever its called nowadays

Sti Front Lip with matching sideskirt extenders & rear corner extenders

Car is mechanically sound & is available for any inspection/test drive(however joyriders will not be entertained)

Bodywork is what I would describe as very tidy, its not mint but I looked at a few before I purchased this & it was tidier than the others I viewed

I have got around £15000 in the car but will be prepared to listen to genuine offers around £12500 which for a proper sorted hawk is very good imo
My mobile no. is 07979543744 & car can be viewed in Yorkshire either in Hensall Dn14 0rp or Glasshoughton wf10 4qf, thanks Matt

Typed all that & now struggling to upload photos but will keep trying but until then car is WR Blue with Gold Rotas

Couple of things I've remembered since original post, car has Ecutek map(2 settings), mapped by Andy Forrest(Dyno sheet available) & rear spoiler has genuine Perrin supports fitted
Texts replied to, thanks Matt

Thanks mate
I've had plenty of scoobs over the years but nothing that comes even remotely close to this, looks with performance to match, I think the only mod that is missing is a bigger front brake set up but the Godspeed discs with uprated pads seem to do the job well enough for the road use I do

Whilst that car was showroom condition & mine is a daily driver, it was running a lot less hp & unless I read the spec sheet wrong & missed that it did in fact have an uprated turbo/injectors/fmic etc it would require maybe another £2500 spending on it for it to get near my car, that's before the(imported) full titanium tomei exhaust system that was just under £1400 but each to their own mate, I am knocking the other car btw just stating they can't begin to be compared like for like
My asking price is £13000 or very near offers, wife might have to get used to driving it if it doesn't sell & i'll have to use her 308 oil burner for my increase in miles

No offence taken mate, I've been in turkey for the last 2 weeks(got back early hours Friday morning), whilst away I dropped the car at scoobyclinic to sort out clutch(new exedy pink box fitted), sorted some wiring problems I had caused between the new stereo I had fitted(car came with appradio which I couldn't get to work with my iphone 5), as they were both pioneer units I presumed it would be a straight forward swap but I couldn't of been more wrong, anyway that caused me problems with my oil pressure gauge(I must of disturbed something swapping stereo's) so scoobyclinic fixed all that & also fixed an oil leak on the crankcase that I didn't even know were there??? I have a block paved drive at home & its never dropped a speck on my drive, I had the tyres & front discs replaced in the weeks before I went away on holiday so mechanically I would say it is faultless, I also had a new heavy duty battery fitted a couple of months ago. Interior is unmarked with no sagging on bolsters etc, i'm a non smoker, everything works as it should, bodywork wise there is a tiny dent near the fuel filler cap which I have arranged to have pushed back out by a dent repair co, usual stonechipping to bonnet as found on these sort of cars, no scratches of any note that I have noticed when washed/polished up, there is a small area of surface rust starting to appear on the front wings(just in front at the bottom)drivers side is slightly more noticeable, I think maybe the car had front mudflaps on previously, if I don't end up selling the car I would maybe replace the front wings & have the bonnet painted at the same time & then the car would be imo be mint but as with any car when you start painting, especially if you are trying to sell, some people would be put off thinking you were hiding something(crash repair etc) hence why I've not had done already & tbh it's not that visible at the moment but imo wants sorting at some point in the future, I may be willing to sort for my asking price but I would want the buyer to view the car & leave a deposit before I sent to my local bodyshop(used them for years for all previous cars & are absolutely faultless)
Like I said in my 1st post I'm not one of these people who says something is something it isn't, I drove to Birmingham to buy a black hawk with similar spec to this which was mint, when I got there the bodywork was what I would of said 2/3 out of 10 at best or in my opinion a 'nail', similarly experience with buying other cars in the past, any serious viewer who feels my car isn't as I've described can have there fuel money back from me
Hope that helps any more questions feel free to ask mate

Dyno printout yes, hpi clear yes, sti uk yes, service history not as such although plenty of receipts for serving/ parts/sundries etc, engine had done 3000 on the build when I bought it so now done just under 8000 since build, car can't of been to the moon & back as condition tends to give these things away & everything points to it being a 62k car as opposed to a 100k clocked car, I've serviced it once using 10w50 race oil ;-)
Just been looking through the folder of receipts I've got for the car which run into thousands of pounds(bearing in mind lots more got lost in the post), anyway got a few previous mot's & they go back to 2010 listing the mileage of the car every year it was tested, also as a couple of people requested I send them photos of the front wings I discovered only the drivers side has a bit of rust beginning to show, I must of dreamt it was on both sides! & finally I'm getting the only dent removed 2moro so pretty much car will spot on barring bottom drivers front wing beginning to show signs of corrosion, stunning looking subaru/performance aplenty!!!

Forgot to say I might take a more suitable car for my needs(comfortable mile muncher) in px/swap, ideally audi/bmw diesel, don't think I'm going to advertise elsewhere until later on this month, can't be doing with the hassle just yet & in so will stay advertised only on here for the time being in the hope it goes to a fellow forum/Scooby nut

Lol seen the spec d 486bhp advert, have had a dealer on the phone, started at 10k I said no thanks when he got to 11k, I'd rather buy a road bike & put the Scooby in the garage for Sundays than give it away

Hold out for what it's worth and what you want for it. It looks like a lovely car with plenty invested in it. Well worth it!

Glad you held out for the price mate too many people panic and end up giving their car away. It was worth that all day long.
