----------Sorry, Car Now Sold-----------
I put this advert up a while ago now, but wasn't really in a rush to sell at the time, so didn't really pursue a sale. My new car is being delivered on 13/09 though, so would really like the scooby sold so that I don't have to pay for 2 motors for too long! Because of this, I will accept £5500 for the car. That is my absolute rock bottom price though!! I have also added pics of the lovely leather interior. The car is a 2006 "56" model, finished in stunning Obsidian Black Pearl, with 52k miles on the clock and a full service history. Apart from the most recent service, all the services have been carried out by Subaru. The last service which was at 47k was done by performance car specialists Indigo GT, when the cambelt and pulleys/tensioners were changed. Right, on to the specs...Being the relatively rare SL model, the car has a full leather interior (same as an STi Spec D), with heated front seats and an electric tilt and slide sunroof. I have fitted an STi spoiler and bootlid (so no nasty DIY drill holes) and gloss black 18" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 alloys, with Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres that have about 6mm tread front, and 7mm rear. That's as far as styling mods go. Performance wise the car has a full decat Afterburner exhaust system with Raptor backbox (sounds amazing), K&N panel filter, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, Samco turbo hose kit including Y pipe, and last but not least, a remap by Bob Rawle taking the power up to 297bhp and torque up to a whopping 375lb/ft. The car is truly stunning to drive, and is night and day different to a standard WRX and easily as quick as an STi. Bob Rawle really did an amazing job of the remap. Since I got it, the car has only ever been run on V-Power and occasionally Tesco 99. The only oils that I've run it on are Shell Helix Ultra, and Silkolene Pro S, which is in it now. Mechanically the car is 100% and has never let me down. Cosmetically it is in good condition, with the usual minor scratches and stone chips that you would expect on a 7 year old car, and nothing that you can see unless you look closely. Most of these are confined to the lower part of the front bumper. The last MOT tester to look at the car commented on how good it was underneath. MOT is till end of December. I bought this car 22 months ago completely standard, so I know exactly what work has been done, and that it's all been done properly. I have bills totalling over £4000 that I've spent on mods and maintenance in the last year. I have literally just fitted new Pagid front discs and pads. This car really has been my pride and joy and I will be sad to see it go. It's a real head turner and I'm always getting positive comments from people when I'm out in it. The car is based in Newport, and I'm asking £5500, no offers please as that really is a bargain for so much car. Thanks for looking, and feel free to ask me any questions.

It wasn't around for long....sold it on Piston Heads in less than a week, for £5800 to the first person who saw it. He had been searching for the right Scooby for over a year and travelled 600 miles to me to buy it. There's gonna be a few disappointed people when I send out the "Sorry it's sold", emails tomorrow!
