will have to take one..basically sags all the way round lol. the corners just under the back of the headlights you can see where it should clip onto something...but there is nothing there, either the clips are busted or they have sagged a lot.

More than likely your bumper support bar has corroded away. It leaves the clips waving in fresh air, and the bumper virtually unsupported.

Luckily they aren't dear even new, but ARE worth thickly painting with Hammerite etc before refitting.

Bumper-off job to replace it. Takes an hour or so.

This is one for a bugeye I think? http://tompride.wordpress.com/2014/0...flood-victims/

And here are some new clips: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item27d4caefc5

Thanks mate, its not those clips that are screwed I think though mate, all of those are clipped in and feel solid.

i think its the clips numbered 8/10 and 17/18 on the below.

found it...there are some plastic runners that mount to the body and also push clips at the back of the bumperand push into the wing to keep it all tight....i have none of this! haha plastic runners are broken and gone..a quick call to subaru spares and have ordered all the fixings and hardware, hopefully will fix it all for good.

all sorted and gap now gone gotta say, the way the bumper mounts on the sides is utter crap! thin sheet metal holding the plastic runners...the mounts just bend down! nothing some stainless bolts and washers can't fix permanently
