I have seen a 2000 x reg scooby turbo 2000 (although owner says 2001, maybe later registered??) and it has wide track rear arches a bit like the newer imprezas, when did this come in on the classics? I didnt realise they had them, was it part of the facelift?

They didn't, someone must have done it later

COuld this be to hide rust I wonder!?

 

I know someone who did that until he could get his arches repaired, but I wouldn't be supprised if there are a few cover ups out there.
