Default Blobeye Grill Options

Evening Ladies/Gents,

Today I set to work resealing my headlights, as it looks like the previous owner had them detangoed and they were letting a little water in.

That went fine, but when inspecting the top grill close up, it looks like the badge has been changed at somepoint and the old one must have been chiseled out with a flathead screwdriver - making a bit of a mess of the grill.

A quick google suggests a couple of replacement options:

Does anybody know how these look on the car with the two uprights at either end? Some photographs would be nice, and also is there a way to attach a badge - or is it more for a badgeless mesh only setup?

I quite like the upper grill portion of this, but I dislike the lower part. Does anybody have any photographs of this fitted to a car with the standard lower grill, and does the ZUN SPORT grill use the standard clips/fixings?

the car in the picture on the bottom link is my actual car, changed a bit since then but the top and bottom grills can be bought seperate.

here is the car now. a bit different 3 years later

top grill is simple push fitting, bottom requires a few holes but simple enough.

As I say, my standard one is a bit rough around the edges to be honest - it wouldn't be a fair swap!

That looks good tubby, does the upper grill from Scooby parts include the pink centre badge and STI badge?

Does it include any badge at all, or just a blank space?

Cheers

its your original grill still, the zunsport part is only the mesh.
you push out the old mesh and clip in the new zunsport grill.

Ah that makes sense now, cheers!

Unfortunately that leaves me short of what I actually need to replace!

I wonder what a standard replacement would cost from Subaru...
