Composite bonets are about saving weight, not looking cool!

Get it painted if your that fussed!

Ironic thing is, most carbon roofs are just a sticker, so no function to it at all!

Agree with tubbs, looks really chavvy!

so a real roof vent is the same price as that bonnet

spend it on a harvey hdi front mount, this will also solve your induction problem as you have to remove the airbox to fit the pipe work.

fitted myself, i think you may need to look at the kit supplied as the induction cone is in the inner wing due to pipework so not sure rcm kit will fit.
harvey supplies the cones too.

if your near harvey id suggest you get it fitted as its not easy to do and requires cutting bumper bar with angle grinder.

Your engine bay looks good mate..
What pipe you got for the induction??
Yeh he's 2hour drive from me. Want to get it off him first as thinking of powder coating the pipes first. Then might drive up to him for him to do it.

the maf tube goes into the inner wing where the airbox used to be and has a cone filter on the end supplied by harvey with the fmic kit.

im going to get the cold side powder coated, i asked harvey about this and he said to leave the hot side as it is.

Might be worthwhile to get it coated for a bit of added protection.

its goes under the engine but is still under the engine cover so its not exposed as such.
