How to treat Hatchback spoiler metal bits?
After looking at other Classic hatch back spoiler it seems the metal brackets on them are prone to rust as mine have in the pictures:
So I was wandering firstly how do I remove the rear spoiler and can you take the brackets off the spoiler so I can treat them with black Hamerite paint or can you just remove and replace them?

Hi mate you can take the spoiler off, remove the square plastic nut covers, undo the nut's and undo the screw on each of those rusty bracket's. If the screw rounds off just drill the head out and use new screws. Once you've got the bracket off sand off all the loose rust, treat with any rust killer like K-Rust and repaint, refit. I've just made 2 new brackets out of alloy for mine but those brackets are just a saftey measure incase the bonded ones come loose that are attatched to the rear screen. Ps when undoing the nut's use plenty of WD40. Hope this helps.
