Front splitter with prodrive front lip
Is it possible to put a splitter on with a prodrive front lip on 2002 model? I just want to push more air into the front area for FMIC and a splitter on the front would do that.

Mine is lowered by 35 mm front and rear and with just the prodrive front lip I have custom ramps which only just allow the car to drive up, the problem is more to do with how much the front bumper sticks out ahead of the wheels...I can probably sort it by reducing the ramp size a little and making up extended wood sections so I can still get under the car to do work...that's the plan but worried at mo I wont be able to get the car off the current ramps once above fitted.

hmm so I don't know now. By the way is yours lowered by springs or coilovers? I'm looking for some springs, don't want to spend that much for coilovers. Do you have any pics? How is the ride now?

Coilovers and uprated arbs, etc...list is endless and ride is hard until speed is up a bit but I need that sort of stability. Don't have any pics at mo, she's in garage and cannot move her cos no ecu installed...
I wonder how it fits, if I can put it on with just a few screws or something so it's almost quick release. The other issue is will it go up car ramps in a garage, mot time...

let us know how you get on - been planning on doing this for a while. Just ordered a uk300 lip and I have a HT Autos bugeye lip which I'm told wont fit. But I'm gonna have a look, if not I'll sell the HT one and buy a hawkeye one or swap if someones made a mistake with ordering

Right, part way through process, I had to take the top lip off the splitter to make it match up with prodrive unit...it will fit but not quite the same as the pics above as it won't be sticking out proud of the prodrive front lip all along the front end but it will force more air to flow up infront of the intercooler, just where I want it.
Until I get the ecu back I'm stuck now, plus making wood ramps so I can lift the car up 10" without needing to take the new splitter off each time...my ramps will be 5 ft long in 2 sections now lol

not sure why I've put part of the same reply twice, but anyway..................I think thats why they've been using Hawkeye S204 style lips it will give that extra bit out front. I'm just waiting for my Hawkeye one to turn up to do the same, I'm hoping its going to relatively simple

Mine will still stick out at least an inch in the middle, but bit less on the sides...to be honest it should be perfect for what I need as I only want to put more air flow in the FMIC bay area...which the lip covers perfectly.
