Alright folks,

I've some how managed to crack my front lip splitter right through, must have been very recently but I've no idea how or when. It was fitted when I bought to car but I think it's the HT Autos one.

So what are the options for my 2003 blob STI as far as a replacement goes? HT Autos again or are there others available? I'm sure at some point I've seen a blob with a splitter that turned up and round the edges of the bumper by the front wheels but can't find the pic anymore? Was I dreaming?

 

Do a search on e-bay, there are loads.

But do be aware that Fibreglass ones tend to be heavy, and to crack easily, plus they show white if they chip....which they do

Mine is an HT P1 copy, made of BLACK PU, much less likely to crack and when it chips, it shows black, like an OE one.

 

Are the eBay ones any good though? Don't want cheap crap really.

 

Found this one thats for 03-05 but it doesn't look like its the correct shape to fit?? Anyone had/got one. Japspeed.

You have to get one for your model year.

And yes, some of the e-bay ones are fine, my HT ones was from there

John did you end up replacing in the end? If so what did you go for?

 

Went for a temporary repair for now, the plan is to overhaul the look around April/May time, new splitter, de-badge the boot and stone chip repairs etc, so decided to take off the splitter, strengthen and it's back on again now.... Looks ok for the time being.

 

Well if they ever do a group buy on here again i'll be up for getting the HT-Autos one! Look forward to seeing your new pics mate

 

I've just been eBay surfing for front splitters. Stumbled across some called a 'EZ-LIP' anyone experienced these?
