How can you find out the exact paint code if your car isn't the original paint? Most body shops ive spoken to wont respray my car without the right code ive even tried the local paint shop and they cant find it and ive spent ages studying the paint sample book. i am on the point of giving up. please help!!

The only way would be to approach the original owner who had the work done, ask him, or ask who did it and see if they have a record. Best of luck.
