Go on then, I'll bite: what's a canard? Apart from a French duck?

Its like a triangle splitter on the corner of the front bumper about halfway up
Some drift & time attack cars have them

Canrads on classic is good idea, but is big BUT,unless you don't drive any track days/time attacks or drag,at your stage is this just for look(and in my opinion is the waste of money),something like rear diffuser which is pointless/waste of money without the full flat floor.
Best bet is get front splitter(APR is good, not cheap but best) and then ad the Canards which help increase front downforce at high speeds. The added downforce stabilizes the cars chassis during hard cornering and increases traction for faster lap times. And again for unlock full potential of front splitter/canrads/rear diffuser you will need full flat floor.

they will fail the MOT as they are sharp petruding egdes and are only meant for off road use ie track (i'm sure it says that somewhere) besides they look utter ****e.

I'd ditch the idea
