Default Changing scoops

Toying with the idea of swapping the dinky WRX scoop for an STI one.

Do I need to find one from another hawkeye, i'm guessing I do?

How are the actually swapped over. How is it done? Does anyone have a how-to?

I haven't been out to have a proper investigate so this could be a really daft question.

thanks in advance

Ah so it's as simple as that? perfect.

As I say, I haven't been out to have a look, but is it sealed in? gasket or sealer or just literally bolted on?

I'm not a hopeless girly... i promise

Youll need to take off the undertray, which also means you will need to undo a few fasteners of the underbonnet 'blanket'. Not difficult, but that is what I had toi do on my Bug.

Are the fasteners re-useable or is it a case they snap on taking them off? I know Nissan were fond of those blighters

Yeah, you pull the inside part out of the outside, like most of the annoying fasteners on the car. Just dpont let them drop into the abyss of the engine bay like I did!
