where can i get the louver type for a blobeye in carbon?
fmic fitted so no need for oe scoop

Been told, by "one who knows" not to do this, as it actually RAISES underbonnet temperatures.

And trust me, if this guy says so, he will have done research to prove it

just for air flow to be honest mate .
Its got to make air flow though fmic and rad better mate .
Most tuner in timeattack use them too mate.
So any body help

So the RCMS car was having heat issues when it won TA? and the Zen car too? and the Banana will soon have problems as well?

Crikey, I better sell my scoop too then.

he must be trying to sell an alternative then, as ive had one for 4 years never had a problem and its a "fast" road car, obviously depending what you call "fast"

no arguing mate just want to know the facts so i can go to rcm and after 4 years get my money back because it dont work

It is Harvey he is referring to, I will agree with removing the blanking plates from the bonnet vents will cause heat spots.

I noticed a decrease in underbonnet temps when I fitted my centre vent from ets racing and also had the added bonus of getting rid of bonnet flap at high speed.

Do not know what effect a reverset scoop would have though.

all i can say is i have the rcm reverse one fitted to mine,the people that know me will tell you that it gets plenty of fast road use and track use aswell,and its running 2bar of boost with a mahoosive gt35/42 turbo.i havnt had any probs with high temps yet even when running it through the summer when the outside temps were over 30deg.
