Anyone make grille badges on here??
Evening chaps,
Looking to get a new set of badges for my car.
However i would need some custom ones
Looking for the subaru "i" style front badge (as genuine looking as possible)
Plus i also need the chrome "WRX impreza" style boot badge as seen on the wrx bugeye boot lid.
Now the tricky bit, looking for them finished in Kawasaki green, the grille badge being green in the background.
The boot lid badge being "edged" in the same green.
If anyone knows where, or who, can make me some. I'd be very greatful!!
Cheers!
Matt.

I've seen on the net somewhere years ago maybe on here maybe not but a guide on how to do the grill badge any colour you like get one from the scrapyard theres bound to be loads of smashed imports around. I think you just lightly sand it from behind until the original paint is removed an then spray with your desired colour.

Required Tools: 1 Hour
Time Required: Sandpaper & Emery, Blue Tack, Paint, T-Cut
Stick a large blob of blue tack on the front of the badge
Lay a flat sheet of Sandpaper on the desk
Using the handle you just made rub the back of the badge on the flat sandpaper
When the Blue is gone, Move down to Emery cloth to smooth things down
Be careful you stop when the blue is gone. The idea is to leave the silver
Respray the back of the badge in the colour you want
Wait until the back is VERY dry
T-cut the front to remove over spray and smooth out those blemishes
Use Double sided tape to stick it back on the car
Drive round the block to pose
Aye there's a thing from a quick google search on how to do a ford badge looks an easy job as long as you don't sand too much

tried this evening. Worked perfectly.
The badge was domed so i had to do it by hand "phew!"
Resprayed ninja green.
Only issue was i was foolish enough to put the badge in my works body shop paint booth with some other painted parts.
The heat of the booth has caused the badge to crack!!! D'oh!!!!!
Will have to get another badge and try again, this time leaving the badge to dry naturally.
