Complete Numpty? diffuser wont fit
As title really
i bought one of these
SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI CARBON FIBRE REAR DIFFUSER 03> on eBay (end time 15-Mar-10 20:36:26 GMT)
and when it turned up i was very excited as it is a lovely bit of kit, i emailled the seller for fitting instructions and was told that it would need fitting professionally. Got the car on the ramps today and i cannot see anyway that it will fit at all!! The exhaust is the problem anyone else got one or seen it before, i dont think it can be fitted
really confusing as it is advertised as fitting all 2003-2007 WRX STi imprezas??
any help would be great

not wanting to sound cocky, but did you not wonder where the exhaust exited when looking at the 1 peice design on the ebay listing?
I am guessing they have made it like that so you can indeed cut out whatever shap you want around your exhaust, as mentioned, so are straight, some are angled.
To me, it looks like a decent bit of kit, just needs some DIY to make it fit.
Tho if you do decide to fit it, i would remove the exhaust first, and offer up the diffuser, to make sure the fitment is good, as if you cut it, find out the fitment is crap, they probably wont take it back!
I have an APR one on my car, and the fitment isnt great, took alot of work to make it look good, and it cost over £400!!

No problem mate, i must admit i thought (for some reason) that it would fit under the exhaust, got it fitted really well for £190 and found it elsewhere on the tinternet for £325 so dont feel too bad now
