polish & Wax help
I am buying a 240v industrial polisher to try and get some swirls and scratches from the scoob, dark blue Mica 95H, whats the best polish / grade cutting compound then finishing wax, to get it back to showroom condition

Autoglym's "Paint Renovator", the one with the STi pink label, is very good.
As least I think so. The beauty is that it is not very agressive/rough, so you can work it slowy and keep the process under strict control. Clear coat and paint are thin, and using a machine means you can easily burn through.
Remember to KEEP THE PAINT WET, when you use any abrasive polish.
Look at this shot, unfortunately I don't have a before, but this 21 year old XT Turbo - mine - was hand polished - by me! - at a car show two years ago:
The clear coat was FULL of surface scratches and haze. It came out pretty good I feel :-)
