Hi need huge advice what to do next! bought a 2nd hand high spoiler to replace the low level on my clasic it needs painting so tried taking brake light off, 1 of the 3 screw bolts was so corroded the screw driver stripped the head i then thought well drill it out but on drilling the actual nut thats sunk flush in spoiler began to move as it was heating up n plasic surround melted slightly. to cut long story short the nut is out but with screw still in which i can tap out at work n re thread my BIG problem is now how do i set it back into spoiler?

Once it's out, I'd try epoxy resin, (Araldite), Epoxy filler, (Milliput), fibreglass resin, (car body filler), or even ABS solvent glue, if it's an OE spoiler made from ABS.
A car body-shop may advise.
Remember that the brake light fitting is pretty low stress, so any repair doesn't have to be able to withstand huge forces
Oh, and get some stainless screws to put it back with: www.yell.com, bolt and nut stockists, or internet, WELL worth the small outlay. I am slowly but surely replacing all my car's screws, bolts etc with stainless unless they are in high torque situations.
