hi guys as the title i have got a carbon fibre bonnet and would like to remove the paint is this possible or am i going to have to paint it another colour?

You may be able to by sanding it back very gently to reveal the carbon without taking all the lacquer off. Then have it re lacquered.

I agree with mneame, take your time and dont use too corse a paper, maybe start off with something like a 240 or 400 wet n dry and gradually use a higher grade as you get through the paint. I dont claim to be an expert but i have repaired a few carbon parts in the past, hope this helps
