I need a pair of carbon front wings with the intention of later getting a carbon bonnet and boot lid. Am I right in thinking that it can be difficult matching up carbon parts with their different weaves, colours and furthermore, would I be better positioned if all the parts I want come from the same manufacturer?

In this case I am looking at the Sebion products and would like some reassurance I am not going to run into any future trouble matching carbon parts.

That said, the carbon wings are advertised as "IMPREZA/WRX/STi - GC8 > 1998-2001". Now I feel these are advertised as 1998-2001 as they are intended for the facelift. My car is a 1997 (Catalunya) 4-door with the facelift but with different interior. So do you think it is marked up 1998 just because that was the official completion year for the facelift? Lastly, does GC8 mean coupe and if so is there any difference in the front wings design.



Please help.

 

GC8 is the classic shape 2/4 door impreza, roger clark motorsport do carbon fibre panels as used on Gobstopper.

 

for syleee or weight reduction? some carbon parts are heavier than standard!!
