bonnet pins and lifting

Bonnet pins are really easy to do. just take your time and know exactly where you are drilling the bonnet otherwise it could be a costly mistake.
I mounted the pins where the bonnet rubber stops sit in the slam panel. Then drilled a 15mm hole through the bonnet in line with the pins. I fitted the catches using pop rivets instead of the supplied screws. (I angled the catches mounted on top of the bonnet so I can fit lamp pods in the future)Then its a case of adjusting the height of the pins until the bonnet closes properly and the catches secure the bonnet tightly.
