Default Bumper fixings

Im after all the necessary fixings to attach a new classic front bumper as my bumper got damaged in a accident.

Does subaru or any company do a fixings kit or something along them lines. Or does anyone know what exactly is needed and where i would be able to get them from?

Dealer is youyr best bet.

Local to me, (well, 30 miles), is St Leger Subaru in Doncaster. The parts guy there will discuss your needs over the phone, order in, and send them in a jiffy-bag if you give him a card number.

Or visit one.

It's the only way to get all the stuff you need and for it to fit properly

I used m6 x 20mm stainless button bolts and penny washers, much more solid than those useless plastic clips

What did you bolt them into? The clips reply on expansion inside the hole, to work.

I would guess a nylock nut.

I Put the bolts through the clip holes (button bolt on top and nut underneath) with a penny washer on top of the bumper and underneath the bumper bar. I used a bit of threadlock to stop the nuts coming undone. Its much more solid than those clips. To remove the bumper I just undo where it bolts to the wing, the bumper bar bolts and it comes off in one piece!!

Nice one. I have to say that on my car, I've replaced quite a few low-stress bolts with stainless ones.
