Default Spoiler Fitting

Hi can anyone confirm if its just 2 bolts that have to be removed to take off a spoiler on a classic?had a look today and can only see 2 bolts..cheers

if its the mid high one then no there is 4
2 are hiding behind the rubber bungs on the boot

ive got a standard mid level one on the car at the mo,want to remove it as im getting a hi level one,so there's 4 on both right?

sounds right to me as phil said there is a bung which covers one either side

4 on the oem mid level one

MY high level has 8 fixing points

you need to get the drill out to make 6 new holes as only 2 will line up

my high level only had 4 but was not a genuine one and went straight on i was a lucky boy dont think i could bring my self to drilling holes in my scoob

i wouldnt be happy with just 4 fixing points on something of that size ..

wasnt keen myself on drilling , but was pi** easy in the end

i think the P1 has 9 fixing points

do not underestimate the amount of force the spoiler will have to cope with.
4 bolts is asking a lot
