Default Front splittter?

I need help i ordered a front splitter from scoobyworld, I thought i was just gonna bolt it on and leave it black as i think that looks best, but its damaged and scratched, Do you lot all spray them black or is mine not right??

Depends how scratched it is?,i got mine from www.remotorsports.co.uk and when it was due for fitting,Rick(REmotorsport) wasn't happy with it,but i was.I left mine black

It should not be damaged or scratched and usually are a direct bolt on without any prep required.

surely if its come from scoobyworld it should be brand new - howcome its scratched/damaged? take some pics and post them so we know what you mean

Thats what i thought, i wanted to look like the one you have on urs? i just wanted to bolt it on, I wanted to check on here before phoning them up and saying its damaged,

thats what i thought i didnt wanna spray it etc just wanted to bolt it on as it was,

Its not bad i have brought everything on my car from scoobyworld and its the only thing ever damaged, i got an sti-8 spoiler painted and its fine, so i cant complain, ill give them a ring on the 5th when there re- open

Aye thats not right but Neil will sort you out.

If you use a bit of T cut on the new one it brings out a good luste

its sorted i got send it back and there replace it, bit annoyed that ill have to pay to post it back hope it aint to expensive

Sorry to hear it was damaged mate but glad they are sorting it for you. Any chance you could post a photo when your replacement is fitted That's a tidy motor you have there, Would love to see the splitter on !!

Leave it black when it arrives.Colour coded splitters remind me of 80's/90's Dimma wide arch cars. Take alook at Hawkeye and 5 dr with splitters, the black splitter looks awesome on them

If you received it damaged then surely you should be able to get them to pay for the postage back

if you choose to paint it,plenty of laquer will make it resistant to stone chips. and i mean lots of layers of laquer
