Anyone fitted one of these gear frames to their blobeye/hawkeye?

How hard is it to fit?

I have (for the older shape console) but it was in the car when I got it? assumed it was standard?

Only pic I have to hand where you can see it.



I would assume it's 1 of 2 fitments, i'll have to look at the one in my car.

1.) It's possibly just a sticky back that pushes and bonds to the console and the allen keys just give it that race look like it's bolted on.

2.) You'll have to drill 4 small holes and then screw into the plastic console.

My gut feeling look at that is number 1.

i fitted the older style one to a 03 wrx, had to take centre console out drill 6 holes and bolt through.
was given the newer one by mistake by the dealer, that was a bolt through one too
