hi all i removed the window wind shields on my car . after removing the screws i pulled them off but only too be left with this sticky pads all the way up the window post very very sticky stuff still has the foam stuck on in some places .. i have tried auto glym tar remover this does nothing very hot water this does nothing .... its really got me mad wish i had left them on now .. but i hated them too much can any one help please . thank you in advance

I used a hair dryer to warm them up, then used the tar remover stuff.

Then its just patients, didn't take that long though

cheers for that will give that ago not being thick or maybe i am ....did you use anything else ? like window scraper or just nails and elbow grease? cheers again

Be very carefull! The glue on mine had made the paint soft,and lifted it in places.Looks a bit naf,thinking of fitting new ones to cover it up,but will get a quote to paint first.
