Lightbulb SWIRL MARK REMOVAL

I currently have lots of swirl marks in my black paintwork from an automatic car wash which was done by the last owner Is there any way i can remove these myself without going to the local bodyshop?

For swirls and stuff, there are two ways to go. Polishes containing abrasives, that "wear away" at the paint until the swirls have been removed. And polishes that contain fillers that brisge the gaps, giving a smooth finish. Obviously, polish wears/washes off eventually, so anything containing fillers is a repeat prescription.

If the finish is badly damaged, maybe get an opinion or quote from a professional detailer to polish (abrasives) out the marks.

To DIY, try Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
