Fitting winglets to a Blobeye
Has anyone on here fitted STi winglets to the front bumper of their blobeyes as i've now got mine but i'm not sure whether they just clip into place or whether there is a special fitting kit required

Excellent cheers for that, just one other question as its pouring down outside does the 05 Spec C have the STi front bumper which would mean a direct fit or would it be a WRX one as the boot/spoiler is definately from a WRX hence the standard irioning board spoiler.Just wondered if the bumpers would also be WRX ones
anyone know?

ok ive just had a look and it appears that the bumpers on Spec Cs are WRX ones as there are no fixing holes for the winglets/Aero pieces which is a complete pain in the a$$ i might just leave it as i dont want to start cutting the bumper

Easy job, just need confidence.
Cut the 2 front lugs off and line up the 3 lugs across the top.
I used a strip of masking tape along the groove to mark the position before drilling the slots out, just take your time but don't test fit them because once in they aren't ever coming out

Exactly what I done with mine although I used some heavy duty adhesive from my dads work.
Looks the same as any other and took merely 20 mins all in.
James.

I had some winglets fitted to my blobeye last Jan, but now they seem to be coming away at the top. Should I just squirt some grip fill in there and press them together or do I need to take them off and start again?

If you can pull enough of it away from the bumper id be inclined to squirt some kind of bonding glue down there and glue it in place. That is assuming you never want to remove them as it will leave a horrible mess if you decide to take them off
