Can anyone give me instructions on how to remove the rear bumper from a WRX wagon? I think I have to remove the rear light clusters before I can get at all the fixings but I am not sure.

Please help....Got a nice shiny new bumper and no idea how to fit it!!!!

 

i did mine the easiest way is so not to break the clips is get underneath, remove 3 18mm bolts, couple of 10mm bolts from wheel arch liners and there you go, took me about 45 mins

 

or remove rear lights 5x8mm bolts each side and very sticky glue!!1x10mm tip bolt top of rear arch to bumper tip,4 clips under bumper,numberplate and all plastic fixings allong top of bumper and the pull rear ward and vola you've done it

 

Or send the wife out init 2 mins

 

I think I will go the bolts route. Is it 3 or 4 bolts under the car holding it all in? Not sure which ones to undo. I have some going through the exhaust mounts, and two more further up the car on the same side (O/S) and two on the other side. Should I be removing all of them? I have been told that if I get it right, the whole bumper assembly with slide out....

You didn't really let your wife drive it did you??????
