Default help putting vent in fog light cover

hi all
Can anyone tell me the best way to put a vent in my fog light cover i've seen sum pic's on hear and i like it, and want to do it to mine, does the vent work as a proper air feed going to the air filter and is it hard to do?

just take your time, I used a holesaw attached to my drill and a file to smooth things off. You then need to run a length of hose up and into the engine bay. Takes a wee while, but relatively straightforward
