Default Removing 06+ fog light covers

Hey there!

I´ve been trying to take off the covers with a thin flathead screwdriver by inserting it into the little hole on the bottom of the covers... and I´m too afraid that I´ll scratch the paint if it slips out.

Any advice? What´s the best way to remove them without taking the bumper off?

Thanks

Just make sure it doesn't slip!
You could always try putting a thin piece of cloth over the screwdriver so if it does slip it shouldn't scratch.

We figured out how to remove them without using a screwdriver. Losen the shields underneath the bumper, put your hands in there and lift the "clips" on the covers. Then push... That way they´ll pop a little out, enough for you to get a good grab from the outside and slowly get make them pop out. Also possible to go through the front of the bumper, in through the radiator duct and push on the inner side of the cover, pops a bit out.

Easy when you figure out the best way to do it
