different dash and seats?
I never have been a fan of the originals. I love Audi and Golf type interiors. because of the buld quality and style.has anyone done a interior conversion etc? Would love to have some Golf gti or audi s4 seats and a more "german" type dash?
got about £1500.00 ready to fund it.

fitting differant brand seats is do-able matey
you will need to modify the seat base's,but most seats have a bolt on sub frame so removing the impreza subframe and by making use of some d.i.y cross beams, you will be able to line up the bolt holes of the seat with the attachment points on the impreza seat runners
i did this a few years back with a peugeot 206 GT,i ordered a set of recaros for it,but the subframes where out of stock for nearly 12 weeks,so i went to work with some square type steel tubing and a top notch hack saw
It took me about three hours to make up the first seat and fit, then the second seat took around 45 minutes,as i knew where to go with it
worked a treat and the seats were solid,no play at all and it went through 2 mot's no problems
Dash on the other hand may be a little more tricky
