Default Bugeye reflector covers

I have brought some reaplcement covers from Scooby parts - the carbon fibre ones with STi on them. I was expecting replacement clip in reflectors but what's actually turned up appears to be stick on carbon effect covers. Is this right ?? Is this what other people have ??

Right bit of an odd one here me thinks

Went to fit the stick-on's only to find that the drivers side reflector is not totally flat it has a raised ridge in the middle and thus the stick on cover dosen't go on properly. The passenger side reflector is "normal" - I.E flat so that one would be fine.

Do the standard reflectors come off in any way ?? are these stick on bits themselves or are they clipped into the bodywork somehow ?? The only way I can see round this at the moment (short of trying to replace the reflector in someway) is to very carefully smash the reflector ridge to flatten it and then stick the cover on over the top which will seal the hole anyway.

Any other suggestions ??

Ok folks you can ignor the above post. Decided to try a little brute force to see what was behind the reflector and it's not alot. By the looks of things it's supposed to come out before you stick the carbon reflector on.

My advice having just done it - would be a couple of flat blade screw drivers and just prize the reflector away from the body.
