I'm Looking for a front splitter to fit an 03 STI, which one offers best quality/ease of fit/robustness, comments on your own purchases would be great.

Genuine STI Splitter. Comes in Satin Black, fits perfect (as you would expect) and looks great. Lowers the front of the car slightly so you need to watch kerbs, multi storey car parks etc. I personally like to keep things genuine so only buy Subaru/Prodrive accessories.

Sorry these are the only 2 pics. of the Splitter I have.

This one which replaces your winglets

Genuine Subaru part which they were doing recently for £65

requires painting which any good painter will do for £100. In terms of fitment its 7 screws and silicone along the edge (if you want too?) I just have it screwed on and havent had any problems.

Massive savings on this Front Spoiler and it IS a genuine Subaru Part! I got offered this one a year ago but opted for the STI Splitter. Have looked at Aftermarket Spoilers in the past but prefer genuine..... each to their own I suppose.

I've been looking at getting one of these, so I tried my local dealer but they say there are none of these available in the country at the moment - and they knew nothing of the £65 price. I asked them what alternatives there are for a WRX, but I feel it might be expensive...

While we're on the subject, does anyone know whether you have to get the STi corner splitters to go with the standard STi splitter? If so, where could I get those from?

If you were going for the genuine STI Splitter then yes you would.

Jo, you can get the side winglets from any scooby dealer, the part number is
57742FE010PG for the left one and 57742FE000PG for the righthand one. The end PG is the paint code for WR Blue. I believe they're £60 each.
Alternatively you can get them from Grade A Subaru for £112 a pair.
Excellent fitting guide here which is where I nicked the part no.s from

Thanks guys. It did turn out expensive from the dealer, so I think I'll shop around. Scott Lowe certainly seems like a good possibility...

I got mine through Ian Grieve Subaru in Falkirk @ the £65 price but I spoke to Charlie there the other week and he is saying that there are no more in the country (for now!)
