Tasteful Subaru styling advice needed.....
Hi,
Ive recently purchased my first Subaru, 99 turbo UK, the correct colour I believe is royal silver.... any how the side skirts and the added bits around the bumper are in standard black, I am intending to make these bits colour coded to the body work. Has any one attempted spraying these bits before and what were the results?? Also she has a mid level spoiler but I am wanting to upgrade to a high level spoiler and the same with the bonnet scoop, wanting to upgrade to a higher level bonnet scoop.
Does anyone have these bits for sale or know where I can find the adove items??
She already sits on luvly 17`s so just needing the above items to complete my baby without taking her OTT.
All comments n advise welcome
Thanks alot
Lee

Spraying it yourself isn't on unless you have access to a decent spraygun/compressor. It needs tow pack paint, and any plastics need Scotchbriting, then spraying with a plastic primer, unless you want it all to peel off within a year or so.
Shop around some sprayers you know, or take advice. DON'T necessarily take the lowest quote, for obvious reasons.
When I did my '98 car, I had the mirrors, door handles, skirts etc all done at once, cost me a TOTAL of £200

Thanks for the comments, I think maybe taking it to a body shop is the best idea.
Really want to get hold of the spoiler and bonnet scoop then I can get everything done at once but hoping to to find the spoiler n scoop second hand to keep costs down.
Cheers

Deffo go to a bodyshop to get it done - you'll probably think the car looks to sit a little lower afterwards too.
