Hi
I've just got my hands on a wrx type UK. A stick or something must have found its way into the engine via the scoop, as the intercooler has been damaged. To stop this happening again, can anyone recommed somewhere to buy a grill to put just inside the scoop. I could always try chicken wire!

Would fitting one of these Intercooler Shields have a noticable effect on the efficiency of the Intercooler?
I asked if there was something like this when my car was in for its 1st service. The guy in the service dept said that even fitting a mesh grill would reduce the air flow to the IC by too much. Was he talking C#@p?
