Question Electric folding mirrors

Anybody know where I can buy these from, would also require the internal switch for them. It is for MY03 Sti 8.

I think you can buy them from Subaru dealers here in the UK if you can find out the part no. in Japan. Apparently if they put the part number into their computer it will still bring up the part even though it is not a UK part. If you know anyone with a JDM motor they might be able to find the part number on the mirrors.

Here is a link to a US website that explains how to fit them in case you need it.

Phoned a couple dealers, they did not have a clue I might have to stick a bounty on for these parts

I am sure someone told me that they got the part numbers from somewhere and then went in to their local dealer. After being told that they couldn't get the parts he asked the dealer to enter the part number in to the computer anyway and when he did so the items appeared on their screen. They then placed the order.

Wish I could find the thread!

I wonder where an owner of a JDM import model get a replacement mirror from if it were damaged?

Tried Litchfields for the part no, and the guy said they have never had to replace the electric folding mirror / motor part, only the wing mirror itself if it got damaged I know somebody, somewhere, know's where I can get hold of these bits for me, as if I hit my mirrors going into garage once more I will loose it big time

many thanks guys
