Lower Front Grille
Does anyone know of a web-site where I might be able to order a lower front grille for my Impreza STI 05, a bit like the one on the WR1 but in black! (But i guess it could be painted).
Didn't really fancy making one up, as I think it'll look a bit poo, wanted a factory fit look.
Cheers
Darren.

I know what you mean about the chipping paint, but as least it stops low flying stones smashing in the radiator.
Stainless looks good to, but for me it would only be more money to match the upper grille, which is black. Just don't know why Subaru didn't put a lower one as as standard, very werd I think.
By the way your car Alcazar looks very mean from the front, you done much to the performance side of things?

I'm looking at buying one at the moment, I have a Scott Lowe splitter and the quality is very good.
I'm surprised about the chipping comments, thought it would have been powder coated ?

This is the price you pay for quality i guess!, and first time fit, easy of fit. Might pop up my local dealer saturday and see what they have, it would be good though if it matches the upper grille to a tee.

Whiteline uprated rear arb, anti lift kit, bump steer mod, and full alignment.
TSL Group "N" backbox and matching stainless decat including downpipe.
STi intercooler, 3 port solenoid, HKS induction kit. Hotter spartk plugs.
LINK ecu remapped by Bob Rawle
Defi Link gauges, oil temp, oil press, boost in Scoobymania pod.
So not a lot, really, compared to some

You'll having a laugh "Not a lot really".
Going back to the grille, as the Search icon is up and running now I had a look for similar posts, to which I found some and the grille's in question were the ones where they fit flush to the bumper, now I think they look ok if you get the right colour, but a lot of people were saying they look Naff. But what else is there, does anywhere do a recessed one that sits further back?, maybe Subaru do?. Looks like more research is needed!.

I had the Subaru Part - very good quality and perfect match for the upper grill if a bit expensive
