Default Re spray question.............

Got quoted yesterday for getting the front bumper, wings, bonnet and rear bumper sprayed pluse sorting some rust on the A-pillars and the roof line including materials and all related stripping etc. £1400+ vat. That sounds way steep to me.
Do i live in cloud cookoo land or is that the sort of money paintwork costs?

Thumbs up full respray

Hi m8
I have just had my motor done at scoobyclinic, they qouted me around that for a full respray.

I have been impressed about the strip down and preparation.

I cant tell you the whole cost as i got it undersealed and another few bits done.

Paint work can work out at silly prices but the prep work is where the cost lays, I had full color change A1 job all in 2pk slightly above 2k so your quote seems a little excesive to me for the touch up work.

Wow just about to post about Respray costs etc and noticed forum search facility was back live. (shame i forgot my password so created another account)

They are great pictures and your car looks fantastic. Brave colour, i like it but i have many a person turn their nose up at it.

I was thinking about a nice RED from silver.

Unhappy

I was thinking about a nice RED from silver.
I've got a red classic. I used to think it was a nice colour.
Then my eldest bought a 53 plate Ibiza in THEIR version of red.
Makes mine look dowdy , even when mine is clean and his is dirty. When his is clean, it GLOWS.
