Default Spoiler help!

Hello, me and a mate bought a spoiler today, the guy said it was for an impreza...but when we got home, it didnt seem to line up to the classic style impreza

can any1 tell me if its for the newer style impreza replicas?

The underside of the spoiler base should be flat for a classic. If the middle is lower than the ends then it's for a new age car, The new age boot lid flares up and the edges.

Sorry I can't tell from the pics as the grass hides the shape of the base!

IIRC that's a WRC spoiler for the newage Subaru. I bought one last year for my classic by mistake . I've now got a STi-6 replica .

I can see where the back part that comes down the back of the boot lid ends.

If you turn it over and the base is flat it's for a Classic.
If it's convex (higher in the middle than the ends) then it's for a New age car.

I think it's a New age one to be honest

Typical E-bay special, that doesn't fit the original holes of any Impreza ever built.

It is a spoiler for the new age models (2001 on), and it won't fit a Classic.
It also won't fit a new age without drilling new holes.

def for a new age as ive got one on mine, from ebay too!! yes it does fit without drilling holes and yes the finish is poor. but the bodyshop did a good jib fixing it!!! Willsy
