Someone gave me an idea...
Dont know if anyone would be interested...but for those with FMIC, wondered
if anyone thought of taking off their main bonnet scoop and put a blanking plate in place.
Maybe in carbon

The scoop serves two purposes, cooling air to the intercooler and cooling air into the engine bay directed into the general direction of the turbo. So personally I wouldn't block it off completely.

Louvered panel ....hmmmm ..... with a ducted air feed to the turbo maybe ??
less drag of a scoop
maybe not for the peeps who dont want to lose the scoop that instantly identifies it as a scooby.
maybe this should be moved to "styling"

I'm seriously considering instructing a manufacturer to produce a carbon bonnet of an OEM Impreza Sport design (can't seem to find them).
I can't see how an FMIC'd Scoob needs the scoop. If it's essential then a very descreet "cut in" would be the way forward maybe.
What do people think?
