I am looking into changing the front wing mounted orange reflectors on
my 2002 WR Blue scooby for clear ones, couple of questions though.
How easy is it to remove old 'tango' ones ?
Where can i get clear ones ?
And finally, how much ?
Any info
Nik.

Easy to change.
get them just about anywhere fron a whole host of the advetisers on SN, like Scoobyclinic, TSL etc.
Think they are about £25-30
Oh, and they were available from the scooby main dealers as well (possibly still be able to get them)

I have seen someone write that you prise the orange reflector off using screwdriver blade but make sure the blade end is wrapped with plenty of cloth to protect the surrounding paintwork. I did have a go (a sort of dry run) but it seems you may have to exert a bit of pressure to 'pop' it off. I chickened out because I didn't want to snap the lugs and I hadn't got the clear replacement ones anyway. I think it would be well worth it though as the clear ones would improve the look no end - you probably need the clear indicators as well to match.

i did a search on here before i tried it, taped the end of a screwdriver with elec tape and onece i worked out that they slide upwards (i think - can't remember!), they came out really easily. do a quick search, read the info properly then go home and have a try. i wasn't expecting it to be a 5 min job but it was!

I seem to remember it's upwards as well. But it needs quite a lot of force to push it the full distance up (about a centimetre), and I found that applying the effort necessary meant it was hard to then lift the bottom edge out to free the thing - that's what you use the screwdriver for.
