Scoobyworld Mudflap stickers
Fitted newly purchased mudflaps last night and went to fit the stickers today (they only arrived this morning).
Went to put one on and it wasn't very sticky, even to touch. It wouldn't come off the backing paper. Does anyone know if they stick straight on or have to be smeared with soapy water first as in some transfers ? I tried to ring them today, but the office was closed.
By the way, they look the dogs B's. Recommend to anyone. Front ones a bit fiddly to fit, but had them done in a few hours. Really transform the profile of the car giving it a more aggressive look.

Fitted mine this morning and you are right they do look the dogs.
As for the stickers i got mine from e bay and found it easier to put them on before i fitted them to the car, it did require alot of pulling to get them off the backing paper, but once on they weren't going anywhere.
Hope this helps

Well i suppose over time they may peel off but they seemed to stick like the preverbal **** to a blanket once on. No sign of them peeling off and it rained yesterday! But as you say you get what you pay for!

Problem with mine was the fact that they weren't sticking to the mudflap, not that they were too sticky on the backing paper. I will ring Scoobysport tomorrow and find out.
Just had another go at sticking them. Cleaned mudflap first with mild detergent then wiped thoroughly. Stickers are ****e. I have applied stickers to cars previously, so know what to expect. I eventually got one off the backing paper but once applied was rippling when I tried to press the bubbles out of it. Even tried heating with a hair dryer to see if that would improve it, but didn't.
Thanks
Neil

Hi Mike
Got my stickers today, thanks.
Unfortunately, they are no better than the first lot. Did as you said by cleaning with detergent and rubbing down to give a key, but they don't want to hold to that material. Got one on (only just) but gave up on the second as it didn't want to leave the backing paper. I have took them off as I don't think they will cope with a wash.
I might try to get some off the internet and give them a go.

I am not sure whether I prefer them with or without the stickers, so quite happy to live without them at the moment. Kind of gives it a subtle unsubtleness if you know what I mean !!!!
I could try to rub them down more, but don't want to take the shine off them.
