Question Fitting aftermarket spoilers?

Hi im fitting an aftermarket spoiler soon (STI 7/8 style copy)when its out of the spray shop. It only came with the four screws to fit into the origanal holes(05WRX) Should anything go between the spoiler and bootlid? i.e a foam seal or rubber seal etc? Thanks for any advice as dont want to slam it on and scratch the hell out of her! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 this is the spoiler here. Willsy

Use a padded double sided tape. Like the 3M stuff.
It will act as a cushion and give some more hold.

I was offered some of these spoilers yesterday.
Supplier had 150 off them for £78.50 each.

But given that they look absolutely nothing like an STi 7 or 8 spoiler, and the fibreglass was poorly finished, making it difficult to get a good paint finish without the wave effect.

I didn't bother.
