Default Anyone any experience of C/F Bonnets on a Blobeye ?

Hi guys
I'm seriously considering getting a Carbon Fibre Bonnet for My 05 WRX, I know it's not to everyone's taste but I reckon you only live once and it's something I fancy trying.

The one I've got my eye on at the moment is a SEIBON OEM style one, not cheap at £600 but I'd rather spend a bit more and get a real quality one than some cheap thing which I won't be happy with..

Does anyone have any experience of these ? How easy are they to fit ? Do they flap about at speed ? Should I be looking at any other makes ? Anything else I should know basically ?

Any help gratefully received

Thanks in advance....

ps - here's a photoshopped pic of what I'm trying to achieve..

Hi mate -
Yeah - I saw that but was put off by this a bit.
Not intended for road use.

Bonnet pins are recommended.
Might drop a note to Scott thought to check what he means...

Spoke to Paul - says it's more of a disclaimer but I'd be interested if people have any personal experience of these or any other C/F Bonnets

The carbon bonnet on my bugeye flapped like a demented chicken.....you could see passengers duck and flinch.

I have now fitted bonnet pins and the front is now rock solid, it's just the middle of the bonnet that wobbles.......LOL
