Wagon tailgate waist spoiler - fitting!
Got a lower spoiler now for the JDM wagon, but wondered on best way to fit it!
It needs something like 2 bolts on each end with one in th middle, and also has plastic retaining/locating plugs on the spoiler mounting faces on each end & middle.
As the tailgate will need drilling, I don't wanna get it wrong / uneven / offset, so any one with any good ideas on best way to fit this is welcome!
Anyone got a full width template to stick on and drill thru?

Hiya
Not sure if MY04 wagon lower spoiler is same as jap MY94 ? But worth a try, if you don't mind.
Other option is to get a roll of paper and lay it out, and mark the bolts and clips , then stick to boot! Hope I get it central though!!

One way to mark the holes on your boot in the correct place:
Make your self some strips of plastic, shaped like lollypop pop sticks. Use an empty tub of ice cream (for example) for the plastic
Then glue to the centre of these 2 lollypop shape platic sticks a rolled up piece of card (just like a roach from a funny *** - i dont smoke!) THE CAR SHOULD BE JUST Smaller than the holes in your spoiler in diameter and depth.
Now put the ..contraptions
into your spoiler holes so that the tube of card is in the hole
Hopefully the ..contraptions should just poke out top and bottom of your spoiler.
Position the spoiler on the car.
Tape the parts of ..the contaptions that you can see to the boot.
Remove spoiler carefully leaving contraptions behind.
You can simply drill through the card tubes through your plastic strips into the correct place on the boot.
I hope you understand...ive think ive lost it!
We have these little things made up ready at work and they work a treat.
(proper ones)
If you dont understand pm me and i will send you a photo of the little contraptions we use.
oh this is presuming you have a spoiler with tapped holes in it. If not then just glue it on. We alsodo this often.
