Hi

I want a new front bumper for my 05 STI and I have seen many I want.

My car is currently lowered on Prodrive Springs, I already have had a few scrapes on curbs. So I am very aware that any lower is going to cause problems, but I do want a new front bumper to really make my car stand out and give it a mean look.

What I would like to know if from those who have a low front end:

How low can you really go before driving around town becomes difficult ie speed bumps, multistory car parks etc.

Are there any metal sheets that can go under the front of the bumper, so that would get damaged rather than the front of the bumper?

Any Advice or past experiences appreciated.

I've never owned a car with a front bumper that low, but it looks to me like a speed bump nightmare.

It looks good though, but is it worth creeping diagonally over speedbumps

That does look very low, looks good though!! I have the lester one, which is a similiar style but not as low:-






BTW, I like the rear under spoiler, just the sort of thing i'm looking for actually!!!
